What it is
What is a company profile video?
A company profile video is a short film, usually 1.5 to 3 minutes, that introduces your business: who you are, what you do, who you do it for and why people should trust you. It does the job of a brochure, but with real people, real places and real work on screen.
It is the video most businesses need first, because it gets reused everywhere: your website, sales emails, tenders, exhibition stands and investor meetings.
- i.Introduces your business in minutes
- ii.Shows your people, place and work
- iii.Builds trust before the first meeting
- iv.Reused across web, sales and events
Structure
What to include, minute by minute.
Most strong company profiles follow the same shape. Here is how a two-minute film usually breaks down. Your story may need a different order, but every section below should be there.
| Time | Section | What the viewer learns |
|---|---|---|
| 0:00–0:10 | Opening | A strong image or line that shows what you do, not your logo or founding year |
| 0:10–0:35 | Who you are | What the business does and who it serves, in plain words |
| 0:35–1:10 | How you work | Your team, process, facilities or projects in action |
| 1:10–1:40 | Proof | Clients, projects, results or a short customer comment |
| 1:40–1:55 | People and values | Why customers and staff choose to work with you |
| 1:55–2:00 | Next step | Where to go or who to contact |
Who appears
Who should be on camera.
The right voices make a profile believable. Two to four speakers is usually enough; more than that and the story starts to lose its thread.
- i.
Founder or CEO
Sets out why the company exists and where it is going. Keep it to one or two short answers, not a speech.
- ii.
Someone who does the work
An engineer, designer, doctor or project lead explaining how things are actually done. This is often the most convincing voice in the film.
- iii.
A customer
One sentence from a real client is worth more than a minute of claims. If a client cannot appear, a logo or project name on screen still helps.
- iv.
Your team, on screen but not speaking
People at work, in meetings and on site. These shots carry the film between interviews and show the size and feel of the business.
Where it works
One film, used in six places.
Planning where the video will run before filming decides which versions to cut. We capture landscape and vertical shots on the same day, so one shoot can cover all of these.
- i.
Website
On your home or about page, where new visitors decide whether to get in touch.
- ii.
Sales emails and proposals
A link in the first email answers “who are you?” before the prospect has to ask.
- iii.
Tenders and pre-qualification
Many buyers in the UAE ask suppliers to show capability. A film shows facilities and teams faster than a document.
- iv.
Exhibition stands
A silent, subtitled loop on your stand screen at trade shows. See exhibition videography.
- v.
LinkedIn and social
Short vertical and square cut-downs with captions, for your company page and ads.
- vi.
Investors and partners
A quick, credible introduction before or during a meeting.
Avoid these
Common company profile mistakes.
Most weak profile videos fail for the same few reasons. Avoiding them costs nothing, as long as they are dealt with in the script, not in the edit.
- i.Opening with the logo and founding year
- ii.Reading brochure text on camera
- iii.Running past three minutes
- iv.Stating headcounts or figures that date fast
- v.Too many speakers saying the same thing
- vi.No clear next step at the end
Before the shoot
Five questions to answer before filming.
Your answers shape the script and shot list, which we agree with you before anyone picks up a camera.
- i.
Who is the main viewer?
A buyer, an investor, a future employee or a tender panel each need a different film.
- ii.
What should they do next?
Book a call, request a quote, visit your stand or apply for a job.
- iii.
What makes you different?
The one or two things competitors cannot say about themselves.
- iv.
What can we show, not tell?
Sites, products, processes and people that prove your claims on screen.
- v.
Which locations matter?
Office, factory, warehouse, project sites, or several of them. We film across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

Cost
What affects the cost of a company profile video.
Two profile videos of the same length can need very different shoots. A single-office business filmed in one day is a smaller job than a group with several sites across the Emirates.
Send your brief and we will quote a fixed price for the agreed scope before any work starts.
- i.Number of sites and locations
- ii.Number of speakers
- iii.Shoot days needed
- iv.Motion graphics for figures and maps
- v.Arabic subtitles or voice-over
- vi.Number of cut-downs and formats
FAQs
Company profile video FAQs.
i.How long should a company profile video be?
Between 1.5 and 3 minutes for the main film. Shorter cut-downs of 30 to 60 seconds work better on social media and in ads.
ii.What is the difference between a company profile video and a brand film?
A company profile explains what your business does and why it can be trusted. A brand film is more emotional and focuses on a feeling or idea rather than facts. Most businesses need the profile first.
iii.Do we need a script for a company profile video?
You need a plan, but not always a word-for-word script. Interviews sound more natural when speakers answer questions in their own words, while voice-over and on-screen text are usually scripted.
iv.How often should we update our company profile video?
Usually every two to three years, or sooner after a big change such as new services, a new location or a rebrand. Avoiding dates and headcounts on camera keeps it current for longer.
v.Can we show our company profile video at exhibitions?
Yes. Ask for a subtitled version that works without sound, as stand screens at trade shows are rarely played with audio.
vi.Can you make Arabic and English versions?
Yes. We can add Arabic subtitles or a second voice-over so one production works for both audiences. Tell us at the brief stage so we plan for it.
