What it is
What is a factory video?
A factory video is a short film that takes viewers inside your plant: raw materials arriving, machines and people at work, quality checks and finished goods leaving. It shows buyers, distributors and auditors that you can make what you promise, at the quality and volume they need.
For many manufacturers it replaces the factory visit a buyer from another country would otherwise have to make.
- i.Shows capacity and quality control
- ii.Replaces long-distance factory visits
- iii.Supports supplier audits and registrations
- iv.Gives sales a strong first email
Factory tour plan
What buyers want to see inside your plant.
A good factory tour follows the product, not the floor plan. This is the order that usually works; we confirm it with your production and quality managers before filming.
| Area | What to show | Why buyers care |
|---|---|---|
| Receiving and raw materials | Incoming checks, storage, material handling | Traceability and input quality |
| Production line | Key machines, automation, skilled operators | Capacity and consistency |
| Quality control | Testing, inspection, lab work, certifications on the wall | Confidence that every batch meets spec |
| Packing and warehouse | Packing lines, labelling, stock, loading bays | Reliable delivery |
| People | Plant manager, quality lead, R&D or engineering team | Who they will actually work with |

Filming in a plant
Filming without stopping production.
Your line has to keep running. We plan the shoot with your production manager so we film the right machines at the right moment, and keep the crew out of the way of operators and forklifts.
You decide what stays off camera, such as formulas, proprietary machines or customer labels, and you review every edit.
- i.Shoot timed to the production schedule
- ii.Hygiene and PPE rules for the crew
- iii.Clean lines and tidy areas on the day
- iv.Confidential processes kept off camera
- v.Interviews away from machine noise
Cost
What affects the cost of a factory video.
Price depends on how much of the plant is filmed, how many people speak, and how much needs graphics to explain. A single-line tour is a smaller job than a multi-plant capability film.
Send your brief and we will quote a fixed price for the agreed scope before any work starts.
- i.Number of plants and areas
- ii.Shoot days and shift timing
- iii.Interviews and speakers
- iv.Graphics for internal processes
- v.Language versions
- vi.Number of cut-downs
FAQs
Factory video FAQs.
i.How long should a factory tour video be?
Two to four minutes for the full tour. Shorter cuts of 30 to 60 seconds work better for LinkedIn and ads.
ii.Do we need to stop production for filming?
No. The shoot is planned around your production schedule so the line keeps running. We only ask for a few minutes at specific machines when a close-up needs it.
iii.How do you protect confidential processes?
We agree what stays off camera before filming, and you review every edit before anything is published.
iv.Do you film factories outside Dubai?
Yes. We film across the UAE, including Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai Industrial City, Dubai Investments Park, Sharjah’s industrial areas, Hamriyah, Ajman and KEZAD in Abu Dhabi.
v.Can the same shoot give us product videos?
Yes. Plan it at the brief stage and we can film product demos on the same day, while the crew is already set up in your plant.
vi.How much does a factory video cost in Dubai?
It depends on how many areas and plants are filmed, the shoot days, interviews, graphics and language versions. Send your brief and we will quote a fixed price before any work starts.
vii.Can you film in food, pharma or other clean areas?
Yes. The crew follows your hygiene, gowning and PPE rules, and we plan kit that can be cleaned or kept outside controlled zones.
