What it is

Healthcare videography that can actually be published.

Healthcare video production in the UAE covers the films hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical firms and medical equipment companies use to explain services, introduce doctors, train staff and sell products. What sets it apart from other corporate video is the rulebook. Each emirate’s health authority sets standards for medical advertising, and the federal Emirates Drug Establishment registers medicines and devices before they can be promoted.

So the planning starts with the rules, not the camera. Consent forms, approvals and the claims a script can make are settled at the brief, which saves a finished video from being pulled after it goes live.

Who we film for

Medical video production for every part of healthcare.

A hospital, a dental clinic and a device distributor need very different videos. Each has its own page as the cluster grows.

Where we film

Medical videographers across the emirates.

Each emirate has its own health regulator, so a video planned for Dubai may need different checks in Abu Dhabi or Sharjah. We also film in Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain on request.

The rules

Medical advertising rules in the UAE, in one table.

These are the rules that most often change how a healthcare video is planned, filmed or edited. Your compliance team or the regulator has the final word.

On a medical shoot

How we film in hospitals and clinics.

  • i.

Consent before the camera comes out

Release forms for every patient and staff member who appears, agreed with your team in advance, in the format your legal or compliance team prefers.

  • ii.

    Working around patients

We follow the facility’s infection control rules and film clinical areas at quiet times, so care carries on as normal.

  • iii.

    Nothing private in frame

Screens, whiteboards and files with patient details are covered or kept out of shot, and checked again in the edit.

  • iv.

    An approval step built in

The medical director or compliance lead signs off the script and the first cut, so claims are checked before anything is published.

FAQs

Healthcare video production FAQs.

i.Do you provide medical videographers in the UAE?

Yes. We film for hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and in the northern emirates on request.

ii.Can a clinic post patient videos in Dubai?

Yes, if the patient has given written consent (a parent’s consent for under-18s) and the facility’s medical director approves the post. The Dubai Health Authority’s standards also ban exaggerated or fear-based claims.

iii.Do we need approval before advertising a medical device?

Usually. The product has to be registered with the Emirates Drug Establishment, and device advertising in Dubai generally needs a separate promotion licence. The distributor or local representative applies; we plan the video around what is approved.

iv.Can you film inside an operating theatre?

Promotional filming of procedures under anaesthesia is not allowed in Dubai. Training or educational filming depends on the facility’s own policies and consent, and we agree it with your team before the shoot.

v.How much does healthcare video production cost?

It depends on the number of filming days and locations, how many people appear on camera, any motion graphics and how many versions you need. Send the details and we’ll quote.

vi.Do the rules differ between Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?

Yes. Each emirate has its own health authority: the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi and the Sharjah Health Authority. We check the standards that apply to your facility before filming.
