Filming at IDEX

Four things to plan before IDEX.

Defence shows have strict rules. These are the points we agree with you before the show. For a full filming plan, read our IDEX 2027 video guide for exhibitors.

i.
Register the crew early
Crew passes and any security checks are arranged through your exhibitor portal well before the show.
ii.
Agree a filming list
Your communications team approves which products, screens and people may be filmed. Everything else stays out of shot.
iii.
Approve before publishing
Every edit goes to your team for approval before it is shared anywhere.
iv.
Plan five days in Abu Dhabi
IDEX runs for five days. For full coverage, the crew stays in Abu Dhabi to be on site each morning.

FAQs

IDEX video FAQs.

i.When and where is IDEX 2027?

IDEX 2027 runs from 25 to 29 January 2027 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, together with NAVDEX and the International Defence Conference.

ii.How do you handle sensitive products?

We only film what your communications team approves, and every edit is approved before release.

iii.Do you film in Abu Dhabi?

Yes. Our crew is based in Dubai, travels to ADNEC and can stay for multi-day coverage. Travel is shown in your quote.

iv.Can you film signings on our stand?

Yes. Share the time and attendees, and we film from two angles within the organiser's rules.

v.How fast do we get the videos and photos?

Our editor edits on the spot during the show, so short videos are ready for your approval the same day. Your full videos and event photos are delivered the next day.

vi.How much does IDEX video production cost?

It depends on the number of days, crew size, travel and the videos you need. Send your stand details and we will quote a fixed price for the agreed scope.

vii.Can a videographer film our stand at IDEX and NAVDEX?

Yes. Defence stands have strict rules on what can be filmed, so our videographer works from a shot list that you and the organiser approve. For NAVDEX vessels or live displays, we plan extra time and a second camera.
