What we film

Videos that show light the way the eye sees it.

Lighting is hard to film well. Cameras blow out bright sources, shift colour and pick up flicker. We set up for each product so specifiers see what your fittings really do.

Downlights, linear, outdoor and decorative fittings filmed lit and unlit, with beam, glare control and finish all visible.

Filming at Light Middle East

Four things to plan before 12 January.

A few details decide whether lighting looks right on video. We agree these with you before the show.

i.
Tell us the colour temperatures
Share the CCT of each product on show. We set white balance per fitting, so 2700K stays warm and 4000K stays neutral on screen.
ii.
Check dimmers for flicker
Some drivers flicker on camera at low dim levels. We test each scene before doors open and adjust shutter speed where needed.
iii.
Plan a dark corner
Beam angles and glare control show best against a dark background. A small draped area on the stand makes a big difference.
iv.
Book before the holidays
The show opens straight after the New Year break. Send your hall, stand number and product list in December, so we can plan angles early.

Light Middle East video FAQs.

i.When and where is Light Middle East 2027?

Light + Intelligent Building Middle East 2027 runs from 12 to 14 January 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre, 10:00 to 18:00 each day. It is organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East.

ii.Is Light Middle East held with Intersec?

Yes. Both shows run on the same dates at Dubai World Trade Centre, and visitor registration gives access to Intersec's security, safety and fire sectors too.

iii.Can you film lights without flicker or blown highlights?

Yes. We test each fitting and dimming scene on your stand, set the shutter to avoid driver flicker and expose for the light source, not the room.

iv.Will the colour temperature look accurate on video?

Yes. We set white balance for each product's CCT and check the result on set, so warm and cool fittings look as they do in person.

v.How fast do we get the videos and photos?

Our editor works on the spot at the show, so short clips of your fittings are ready to post the same day. Your full videos and event photos are delivered the next day.

vi.How much does Light Middle East video production cost?

It depends on how many products and scenes you want filmed, the days needed and the number of videos. Send your stand number and product list and we will quote a fixed price.

vii.Can we hire a videographer for our Light Middle East stand?

Yes. Lighting is hard to film well, so our videographer sets exposure for your fixtures and shows them in both bright and dim settings. Smart building controls are filmed with a screen recording of the app.
