Filming at Onset Expo

Four things to plan before 20 November.

Filming at a media show has a few extra layers: live camera feeds, session audio and other people’s footage on your screens.

i.
Give us a feed from your kit
If you are demonstrating a camera or monitor, we can record its output directly, so viewers see exactly what it sees.
ii.
Ask for the session audio feed
For masterclasses and panels, ask the organiser’s AV team for a desk feed. Clean sound matters more than a second camera.
iii.
Plan the trip to Expo City
Dubai Exhibition Centre is in Dubai South, a long way from central Dubai. Book crew passes and arrival times with that in mind.
iv.
Clear rights for showreel footage
Clips playing on your screens often belong to clients. Check you can use them before they appear in your promotional videos.

i.When and where is Onset Expo 2026?

Onset Expo 2026 runs from 20 to 22 November 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, according to the DWTC events calendar. Confirm halls and opening times with the organiser.

ii.Is Onset Expo the same event as On Set Expo?

Yes. The organiser uses On Set Expo, and the DWTC calendar lists it as Onset Expo. It is the same media and production show.

iii.Can you record our camera’s output directly?

Yes. We take a feed from your camera or monitor and record it alongside our own footage, so the demo shows real output.

iv.Can you film our masterclass or panel?

Yes, within the organiser’s rules. We film with more than one camera and take sound from the desk where possible.

v.Can we hire a videographer for one day of Onset Expo?

Yes. One videographer can cover kit demos, an interview and a session in a single day on most stands.

vi.How fast do we get the videos and photos?

We edit on site in Expo City, so your first reels go out the same day. The full set of videos and photos is delivered the day after filming.

vii.How much does Onset Expo video production cost?

Price is set by the number of cameras, how long we stay on site and whether we record sessions. Send your stand details and we will quote a fixed price.
