Thirty small moments

An awards night is a run of moments you can’t repeat.

A name is read out, someone stands, walks to the stage, shakes hands, holds the trophy and turns to the photographer. Miss one winner and a sponsor or client will ask where their clip is. So we plan the night around the winners list, not the menu.

What we film

Coverage for the whole night.

i.
Every winner
A stage camera stays locked on the presentation spot for the whole ceremony, so no award is missed, even when the host speeds up.
Locked stage camera
ii.
The walk-up and the reaction
A roaming operator catches the table when the name is called, and the walk to the stage.
Roaming camera
iii.
Arrivals and red carpet
Guests at the step-and-repeat, with short interviews for sponsors and VIPs who agree to them.
Interview setup
iv.
Speeches and the host
Clean sound from the AV desk for the opening address, the keynote and the host’s links between categories.
Desk audio feed
v.
The room
Wide shots of the ballroom, stage design and entertainment, and the moment the dance floor fills.
Atmosphere
vi.
Nominee and sponsor films
The short videos played on the big screens for each nominee or sponsor, produced in the weeks before so the screen content and the night’s coverage match.

What you receive

Clips winners actually share.

Winner clips travel furthest, because every winner posts their own. We edit them as one batch from your winners list.

i.Winner clips, one per category, within one to two days
ii.A same-day vertical reel, cut on site with On-the-Spot Editing
iii.A two to three minute highlight film for next year’s sales
iv.The full ceremony recording, with every speech
v.Sponsor cuts that show each sponsor’s branding and moments

Before the night

What we need from you.

i.
Run order and categories
The category order and where presenters will stand. Winners can stay sealed with you. The camera only needs to know when, not who.
ii.
No-film tables
Some guests, especially officials and senior executives, prefer not to be filmed eating or relaxing. Tell us which tables to avoid and the crew keeps them out of frame. A filming notice on the invitation helps too.
iii.
Ballroom lighting
Ballrooms are dark for the audience and bright on stage. We bring small lights for interviews and set cameras for the stage, so faces in the crowd don’t turn into silhouettes.
iv.
Crew size
Up to 300 guests, two camera operators is the minimum: one on the stage, one roaming. Add a third for red carpet interviews and an editor for same-day posts. Bigger ceremonies or live streams need a crew per position.

FAQs

Gala and awards video FAQs.

i.Can you film every winner if the ceremony runs fast?

Yes. One camera stays on the presentation spot for the whole ceremony and never leaves it.

ii.How quickly can winners get their clips?

Usually within one to two days. We edit them as a batch from the winners list.

iii.Can you make the nominee videos shown on screen?

Yes. We film or edit nominee and sponsor videos before the event and deliver them in the format your AV company needs.

iv.What about guests who don’t want to be filmed?

We agree no-film tables in advance and the crew keeps them out of shot. UAE law protects a person’s image, so a filming notice on the invitation is a good idea. Our event videography planning guide covers consent in detail.

v.Do you film galas outside Dubai?

Yes, across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

vi.How much does gala or awards videography cost?

It depends on hours, cameras, the number of winner clips and same-day editing. Send your run order and guest count for a fixed quote.
