The Abu Dhabi market
A market led by developer launches.
Abu Dhabi has fewer projects than Dubai, but its big developers often release a whole community at once. The sales centre opens, brokers are invited to an event, and the campaign goes live, all within a few weeks and all needing video. Our own property work in the capital so far has followed that pattern: a developer’s sales centre film and the broker event around it.
The volume is real. Savills’ third-quarter report counted 6,085 residential deals in Abu Dhabi worth about AED 21.5 billion.

Communities
Where we film property in Abu Dhabi.
The islands each attract a different buyer, so the film should open on whatever brought them there.
- i.
Saadiyat Island
The cultural district on one side, the beach on the other. Buyers want to see the museums down the road and the sand outside the door, so the film moves between the two.
Culture · beachfront - ii.
Yas Island
Theme parks, the circuit, the golf course and the marina. It draws young families and investors, so keep the edit lively and short.
Leisure · investors - iii.
Al Reem Island
Towers with water views a few minutes from the city centre. Reem falls under ADGM, which runs its own permit process for property ads.
Towers · ADGM - iv.
Al Raha Beach and Al Raha Gardens
Canal-side apartments and family villas between the city and the airport. Show the water, and show how short the drive is.
Canal · villas - v.
Al Jubail and Hudayriyat
Newer villa islands built around mangroves, parks and beaches. Much of it is still off-plan, so real footage of the surroundings does the heavy lifting.
Off-plan · nature - vi.
Khalifa City and Al Shamkha
Mainland communities where families buy space, gardens and nearby schools. Film the street and the garden, not only the rooms.

Advertising rules
Every listing needs a Madhmoun permit.
Since mid-August 2025, property ads in Abu Dhabi have needed an advertising permit issued through the DARI platform and checked on Madhmoun, the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre’s listing system. Ownership, description and size are matched against the property register before the ad can go live. On Al Reem and Al Maryah islands, ADGM issues its own permit, linked to Madhmoun.
For video, the practical rule is simple: what the film shows and says must match the verified listing. If the permit says two bedrooms, the voiceover can’t sell it as a three-bed. Your broker applies for the permit, and we keep the edit in line with it.

FAQs
Abu Dhabi property video FAQs.
i.Do you film off-plan launches for Abu Dhabi developers?
Yes. We make launch films, sales centre and show unit videos and broker event coverage, and add CGI where the buildings aren’t finished yet.
ii.Does our property video need a Madhmoun permit?
If it advertises a property for sale or rent in Abu Dhabi, the ad needs a permit issued through DARI. Your broker applies, and the video should match the verified listing details.
iii. What’s different about Al Reem and Al Maryah?
Both islands fall under ADGM, which issues its own advertising permit for property there. It is linked to Madhmoun but applied for separately.
iv.Can one booking cover the launch film and the broker event?
They are usually separate shoot days, because the film is needed before the event happens. Send us both dates and we’ll plan them together.
v.Which parts of Abu Dhabi do you cover?
Saadiyat, Yas, Al Reem, Al Raha, Al Jubail, Hudayriyat and the mainland communities. For Dubai property, see our Dubai real estate videography page.
vi.How is a property video in Abu Dhabi priced?
By the type of film, the number of locations and how much CGI the project needs. Send the project details and we’ll quote.
